A 24+ years professional career has served up some fairly high-impact​ and transformational results for Porus' clients/employers, a small sample of which are listed below: 

• Performed a detailed study of the reasons for chronic working capital shortage in the organisation, identifying a $100million+ of surplus & obsolete inventory (>25% of the total), which had been built up unchecked over the years !

• Helped give practical shape and deployed Middle East-wide critical ERP applications (Payroll, HRMS, Finance, Counselling and several other smaller ones) for the first time in the history of the organisation, across 25+ offices and 5000+ users !

• Identified a multi-million Dhs under-recording of expenditure that lead to a lethargic project management company being replaced, saving millions for the organisation in potential penalties later on from the authorities !  

• Identified inadvertent water wastage which helped save over Dhs 20,000 annually in the water bill, once the leakages were plugged !

• Reviewed and then completely re-scoped a multi-million $ ERP application (agreement with vendor was signed before Porus joined) that was missing key organizational objectives, and which if allowed to continue unchanged, would have resulted in 90% of group revenue being untouched by the  benefits of the ERP application !

• Volunteered to test the design and then implement two completely new audit methodologies in external audit and one in internal audit that were being rolled out for the first time in the history of the organisation !

• Within the first quarter after joining, set up an internal audit department with continuous assurance initiatives, for the first time in the history of the organisation !

• Created a strategy blueprint aimed at improving the business unit growth in a sustainable manner, and achieving repeatable excellence in client service, which was voted one of the three best practical strategy documents presented at a Directors conference !
